Huhu,

wir sind letztens auf Widerstand gestoßen, als ich Fiona für einen Reitunterricht angemeldet habe.

Ich hatte im Anmeldungsbogen Angaben über das Glasauge und das kleinere Gesichtsfeld gemacht und kurz vor der 2. Stunde bekam ich dann einen Anruf, dass die Reitlehrerin ein schriftliches Attest vom Arzt benötigt, dass Fiona reiten darf. Ansonsten wäre es das dann gewesen...

Die Versicherung lässt grüßen...

Dass man zum Beispiel zum Führerschein ein Attest braucht war mir klar, aber ich war doch sehr übberrascht.

Habt ihr sowas auch schon erlebt?
Wenn ja, wo muss man auf sowas noch vorbereitet sein?

In Essen wurde uns damals gesagt, dass Fiona alles machen kann. Dass man aufs Glasauge aufpassen muss, ist schon klar.

unsere Tochter ist jetzt 13 jahre alt und reitet seit 8 Jahren ohne Attest.
Es gibt eigentlich bei den Leutenn immer nur 2 Problemstellungen:

Die Leute sind verunsichert, kennen sich nicht aus und wollen sich absichern:
mit einem Attest fühlen sie sich dann sicherer.

Die Leute überschätzen in großem Maße die Wichtigkeit des zweiten Auges für das räumliche Sehen. Der Großteil des räumlichen Sehens läuft über Erfahrung und Größenvergleich, Sina hat z.B. beim Ringreiten jetzt gerade einen 3.Platz gemacht. Sie spielt auch Tennis, fährt Waveboard und kann auch alles andere, was ihre Freundinnen machen.

hallo ihr,
ich dacht ich könnt mich da jetzt auch mal zu äußern, schließlich habe ich die ganzen situationen selbst erst vor wenigen jahren durchlebt (bin jetzt 21, die zeit fliegt...).
also, ich reite auch von kleinkindesbeinen an, da meine familie ein pferd besitzt. somit brauchte ich natürlich kein attest um reiten zu dürfen, aber habe zum beispiel viele jahre fussball und hockey gespielt (auch, oder gerade hier, kann man ja mal was ins auge kriegen) und da auch nie eins gebraucht. gut ist es aber, wenn die trainer bescheid wissen, bzw in eurem fall der/die reitlehrer; einfach falls doch einmal was passiert und sie reagieren können. persönlich finde ich das echt übertrieben mit dem attest, bin da aber natürlich auch nicht objektiv;).
habe auch überhaupt keine probleme mit dem führerschein gehabt. ich musste zwar zu meinem augenarzt, aber habe alle tests zu 100% "bestanden". bei meinem mofaführerschein 2 jahre davor musste ich sogar gar nichts machen. nur weil einem ein auge fehlt, heißt es nicht, dass man schlechter oder weniger räumlich sieht; das verbliebene auge übernimmt anscheinend doch unheimlich viel.
zum schluss bleibt mir eigentlich nur zu sagen, dass ich es als kind schrecklich fand, einen sonderstatus (sei es beim sport, führerschein oder generell wenn das gespräch auf krebs kam) nur aufgrund meines auges zu kriegen. das kam zum glück nicht oft vor, aber man fühlt sich sonderbar und anders. dabei möchte man doch eigentlich nur "normal" sein. meine eltern haben das wunderbar geschafft und mir nie irgendetwas aufgrund meiner damaligen krankheit verboten, was sie meinen geschwistern erlaubt haben. das finde ich auch gut so. gerade als kind will man ja nicht immer wieder an die krankheit erinnert werden, die man grad erst besiegt hat...deswegen würd ich es allen eltern ans herz legen, grad im kindesalter die kinder nicht spüren zu lassen, falls es mal irgendwelche konflikte mit anderen leuten aufgrund des RBs gibt.
aber jetzt wünsche ich euch erstmal viel glück bei eurer suche nach einem passenden reitstall und drücke die daumen. und beim ersten runterfallen direkt wieder aufs pferd steigen, das ist ganz wichtig sonst setzt man sich nicht wieder drauf;).

Wir sehen das auch so, wir wollen die Kleine nicht in Watte packen und sie damit auf irgendeine Art ausbremsen. Fiona soll so unbschwert damit aufwachsen wie es nur geht.

Beim Reiten sind wir mittlerweile fast am Ende des ersten Kurses angelangt. Es macht ihr wahnsinnigen Spaß und der nächste Kurs ist quasi schon gebucht.
Da der Kurs ein Hippolini-Kurs ist, werden dort als positiver Nebeneffekt auch Übungen gemacht, die das räumliche Verständnis in Kombination mit dem Gleichgewichtssinn spielerisch schulen.

Es ist schön zu hören, dass auch Ballsportarten und Ringreiten kein Problem darstellen. Dass ich das aus mehreren Richtungen erfahre, freut mich total. Ich denke es liegt eben auch daran, wo die Talente liegen, egal ob Prothesenträger oder nicht. Wenn man das Fingerspitzengefühl für eine Sportart hat, dann ist man auch gut darin.

Ich finde es super, wenn ihr so offen damit umgeht! und die Möglichkeit für das Kind zu reiten ist einfach super!!!
Freilich hat man immer ein leicht flaues Gefühl im Bauch wenn das ind mal was neues macht (Kindergarten oder auch das erste mal reiten...) weil man eben ANGST hat dass was passieren könnte.
Aber so wie ihr s macht - Toll, Toll, Toll . Nur so geht es!
