With Sawtooth the circuit works more "smooth" over the whole band.
All frequencies are jammed with the same level.
Triangle wave is suitable, too.
Sine wave is not so good, because the jammer won´t work continously over the whole band.

Don´t even think of using jammers in a hospital!
This is extremly dangerous!!!
Have you ever heard of EMC/EMS?
