@ high frequencies,ferrite bead around a cable work like a resistor
instead of a inductor and dissipates noise in the form of head.
Also it's perfect to build a bias with low pass characteristic that vary
on the depending material.
A Siemens S4 have already a FB on PCB.
That's the small black thing in front of the power hybrid.

Questions???

I also look for eqivalent VCO's to the Maxim Pos1060

Hy..
#That's the same circuit, only with a Maxim VCO instead a MiniCircuit Pos1060 ,,, if you find that VCO you better use my amplifier after
the signal attenuator. So it's posibble to boost the signal from less than 5 db to over 1 Watt .... The noise circuit looks nice ... Don't forget the att. or our amp. work like a transmitter.
