Of course you can see the outward effects of arrogant "chosen people" worldviews like zionism. i think your reference to the Nazis is a good example of what happens when people think they are the chosen ones. you can see that in other parts of the world too, for example in the occupied palestinian territories where war crimes committed against a captive population are rationalized ultimately by bizarre and demostrably false religious absurdities.
