Hallo! Unser Sohn ist mittlerweile 4 Jahre alt. Er hat mit 1 1/2 Jahre sein rechtes Auge entfernt bekommen. Bei der U8 wurde nun festgestellt (was wir aber auch schon wussten), dass er schlecht auf einem Bein stehen kann und schlecht auf einem Bein hüpfen kann. Balancieren klappt auch nicht so gut. Die Ärztin meint, dass es an dem Gleichgewicht liegt, dass wohl bei einem einäugigen Kind nicht so ausgeprägt ist wie bei einem "gesunden" Kind. Ausserdem meint sie, wenn das nicht besser werden würde, würde unser Sohn mit dem Schreiben und Lesen in der Schule Schwierigkeiten bekommen, weil es dafür wichtig ist. Hat jemand von euch ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht? Wie kann ich unserem Sohn dabei helfen. Die Ärztin meinte, eine Ergotherapie wäre da ganz gut. Zitat: Er muss ja das räumliche Sehen lernen. Hallo,
unser Sohn hat zwar noch beide Augen ist aber auf einem Auge blind und auf dem anderen hat er ca. 30%-40% Sehfähigkeit. Vorweg ersteinmal räumliches Sehen mit einem Auge lernen zu können ist quatsch, dazu braucht man beide Augen. Mit ca. 4 Jahre riet uns der Kiga ebenfalls zur Ergotherapie, da er insbesondere im Bereich der Feinmototrik aber auch beim Turnen leichte Defizite hatte. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Kinderarzt haben wir auch ein Rezept hierfür bekommen. Im Laufe der Ergo zeigte sich, dass grundsätzlich alles in Ordnung ist, gewisse Einschränkungen durch das geringere Sehvermögen vorhanden sind, woran man aber auch nichts ändern bzw. trainieren konnte. Nach einem Therapieblock hielt unsere Therapeutin eine weitere Ergo nicht mehr für notwendig. Inzwischen ist er sechs Jahre, die Feinmotorik deutlich verbessert und er wird im Sommer ganz normal eingeschult.
Ich würde mir eine gute Ergotherapie-Praxis suchen und mir dort eine Meinung einholen. Die Therapeuten können den Stand der Kinder meist sehr gut einschätzen und falls notwendig mit der Ergo beginnen. Mein Sohn fand es übrigens total super dort und er war enttäuscht als er nicht mehr zur Ergo durfte.

Hallo
unsere Tochter (rechtes Auge wurde entfernt) kommt diese Jahr in die Schule. Sie bekommt jetzt schon den 2. Block Ergo, obwohl sie eigentlich keine Defizite hat. Dort wird die Koordination zwischen Auge und Hand (Stiftführung) geübt. Außerdem macht ihr das wirklich sehr viel Spaß weil alles mit Bewegung und spielen verbunden ist.
