Hallo und guten Tag,

erst einmal wünsche ich Euch allen ein gesundes, glückliches neues Jahr 2010!

Bei meiner Tochter, bil. RB, knapp 3 Jahre alt, soll voraussichtlich das Implantat entfernt und durch einen „Eigenfett“-Einsatz ersetzt werden, da das Implantat zu weit oben sitzt und es dadurch nicht möglich ist, ein vernünftiges Glasäuglein einzusetzen. Im Moment ist permanent das Unterlid nach innen geklappt und das Oberlid hängt etwas herunter, außerdem bewegt sich das Glasauge kaum mit, ist andauernd mit Sekret verschmiert und sie kann das Auge gar nicht mehr schliessen.

Wer hat Erfahrung mit solchen oder ähnlichen Operationen und kann evtl. einen Arzt/Klinik empfehlen bzw. nicht empfehlen.

Vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe – ich weiß im Moment nicht, ob und wie ich entscheiden soll, ob ich meine Tochter ggf. mehreren Ärzten vorstelle usw.

Wir haben sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Professor Guthoff an der Universitätsaugenklinik in Rostock gemacht:
Bei unserer Lisi hat er ganz kleine Kunststoff-Pellets hinter das Implantat eingebracht (es lag zu tief). Diese Pellets vergrößern ihr Volumen durch Flüssigkeitsaufnahme beträchtlich und drücken so das Implantat in die gewünschte Richtung.

Wow, Punkt 1: das war ECHT interssant, schließlich bin ich auch noch am überlegen mit einer OP / Schwenk von Prothese zu Implantat und Punkt 2: ist es gut zu hören dass diese Adresse auch hier empfohlen wird. Ich war noch nciht da, nehms mir ständig vor (ist auch ne reifliche Entscheidung und ein langer Weg noch dazu), aber genau von diesem Doc habe auch ich die Adresse genannt bekommen, ich solle mich dorthin wenden.
