The Salinas de San Pedro Regional Park, despite its small size, is one of the destinations you must visit once in your life. The park is located at the northern end of the Mar Menor and is a good example of the transformation of an old coastal lagoon into salt pans, which, to this day, continue to be a productive asset. Among the fauna and flora that you can find, the coastal juniper, the reed, the junco, the charrancito, the stork or the flamingo stand out.

To get to the park we must take 8Rental transfer services to get there quickly
Within the Park there is marine, terrestrial, aerial life, trails to walk with our children, there are different Observation Centers for birds, areas for cycling, running or bathing. There is life and nature, two fundamental elements for child development.
The Salinas de San Pedro stretch along a Mediterranean coastline of about 6 km. These, together with Las Encaņizadas (natural water exchange route between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor), constitute the Regional Park, with an extension of 856 hectares, located in the municipalities of San Pedro del Pinatar (salt flats and sandbanks) and San Javier (pointed).
Undoubtedly, it is a unique area, located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor, dedicated to salt mining since Roman times, and which make up a landscape of ponds, dikes or specks, dunes and pine forests.
