The new double-girder gantry crane also features a wireless remote control, automatic variable throttle (AVT) fuel saver and working and driving lights for night or early morning operations. Wireless remote controls are standard on all gantry cranes, allowing the operator to move freely for better field lines and allowing the operator to assist with the rigging process.
At the same time, AVT's built-in engine program automatically adjusts engine speed to consume only the power needed to complete the task at hand, significantly reducing fuel consumption and extending component life.
