My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Morocco in April. We are taking a 4-day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech. Any recommended tour companies we should book with (preferably before we get to Morocco)?

there are many highly recommended ones but you have to check the reviews yourself - switch to the Fes Forum and check 'Things To Do' to see reviews for local tour companies. Email a few for quotes and to discuss what exactly you want.

Five years ago we visited Morocco with our best friends and had a wonderful tour of the country which was arranged through a tour agency. We were particularly impressed with our driver, Fedeli Mohamed, who not only delivered us safely to each destination but also saw to our every need. We recently returned to Morocco. Before we left, we contacted Mohamed directly to see if he was still with the same company since it was important for us to secure his services.

We found that he was now independent and could not only drive us but also make the complete trip arrangements for us. He planned the whole trip for us, securing lodging, hiring local guides and arranging site visits. Of course, he was our driver for the whole trip. We had every bit as fantastic a trip as we did the first time and it was roughly half the price. Mohamed is honest, dependable, and dedicated to serving his clients. He picked us up and dropped us off at the Casablanca airport.

one time poster or recommendations would not help you assure your trip. Also if you have a tour 5 years ago that's hard to keep the same updates for the company. for an online tour company that's hard to confirm the right service you are buying, give it a little time and do some research as if you just type in the forums, at the search box for Morocco Travel companies or agencies then you'd get loads of helpful reports about Moroccan tour companies.
