Hello, i returned from my practical semester had found some time for hobby, i really had withdrawal

So, what might this be?



Simple, isn´t ist

The theoretically output power is about ~20dBm, unfortunately i just reaches ~50m Still have to work on it...

Hi Chris...
No, it´s a standard video/audio modulator out of an old satellite receiver.

The design depends on the work i did in my practical semester, I´ve learned a lot of GHz-Design :-)

The output stage is a RF2317 (i was allowed to take some souveniers )

Sorry, i don´t have a really schematic for this.

The chain is:
Modulator (-38dBm output) -> ERA3 -> ERA5 -> Attenuator -> ERA3 (adjust Attenuator to get +10dBm here) -> RF2317

Unfortunately the RF2317 ´doesn´t work´ properly. The transmitted signal before the RF2317 (+10dBm) produces a much better picture on the tv than behind (+25dBm).
Perhaps something is swinging... i have to look for it.
