Enfin, la course de Portimao au Portugal devient championnat d’Europe
d’endurance pour 2014 comme nous vous l’avions annoncé l’an dernier. En
fait on a même droit à un championnat en deux épreuves une au Portugal
et une en France !

Les organisateurs portugais se sont associés avec Thierry SCHARFF
pour mettre au point ce mini championnat qui sera titré championnat
d’Europe UIM à l’issue du classement cumulé des deux épreuves. Le
partenariat a été officialisé au salon nautique de Paris entre les deux
organisateurs sur le stand de JetPulsion qui ne manquera pas de couvrir
ce championnat. Les dates restent à confirmer mais l’épreuve Portugaise
est prévue les 10 et 11 mai à Portimao en mer, tandis que l’épreuve
française est prévue en septembre sur le lac de Pareloup en Aveyron. Le
format est identique pour les deux épreuves, à savoir deux manches de 3
heures avec mise en parc fermé entre les deux manches..

Affaire à suivre pour ce championnat qui ne manquera pas d’attirer
les teams officiels compte tenu du titre de champion d’Europe UIM à
conquérir.

To all interested

The
PROMOTORA LIVRE ASSOCIAÇÃO NÁUTICA MOTORIZADA jointly with the MUNICIPIO
DE PORTIMÃO and with technical support of FEDERAÇÃO PORTUGUESA DE
MOTONÁUTICA, are going to organize the first race of the European Championship Endurance Aquabike on days 09^th, 10^th and 11^thMay 2014 titled EUROPEAN GRAND PRIX ENDURANCE AQUABIKE.

This race will take place at Portimão – Algarve

The
event is organized under U.I.M (Union Internationale de Motonautique)
aegis, F.P.M. (Portuguese Powerboating Federation) and P.L.A.N.M.
(Promotora Livre Associação Náutica Motorizada).

This event is in according with U.I.M. rules, F.P.M. National regulations and specific regulations of this event.

All
participants, organizers, commissioners, pilots, mechanics and
assistants should be aware of all the rules and accept them as they are.

Only pilots with official national licences of affiliated UIM National Authorities will be accepted, along with super license UIM

The Pilots must hold the respective insurance.

The races will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday beginning at 11h00 in a closed circuit with 90 minutes “non stop” for Skis and at 14h30 for Runabouts with 180 minutes.

Sunday beginning at 09h00 for Skis with 90 minutes, and at 11h00 for Runabouts with 180 minutes.

The inscriptions confirmation for RUNABOUTS and SKIS will begin on Friday day 9^th from 14h00 to 19h00 in simultaneous with the security verifications.

The drivers meeting will take place at the Secretariat on Friday (May 9^th) at 19h30 for both categories.

The race Jury is constituted by a member nominated by each National Authority / Federation who has pilots entered in the race.

This
Jury is presided by a Delegate of FPM, a representative of UIM and a
representative of the organization of the race in France.

The
representatives of each Federation should be presents in person, with
an official document of accreditation of its Federation.

The U.I.M Commissioner is member voted inherent of the International Jury.

The prizes giving will take place on Sunday, at 16h00, in Podium.

The prize money will be distributed to the pilots after the due time for presentation of the protest.

The entry forms should be sent up to 40 days before the event.

Will
be attributed the Titles of Endurance Europe Champion on the following
classes at the end of the 2 races (Portimão + Pareloup):

Ski GP1, Ski GP2, Ski GP3, Ski Female (GP3), Runabout GP1, Runabout GP2 and Runabout GP3.

The Portuguese organization offers 2 nights in 1 or 2 apartments (accommodation only) for each Team.
