LOW FREQUENCY IN STEREO “They are the Coolest Rulers from Scandinavia !” was said by Rolling Stone Magazine. Low Frequency in Stereo has released 3 albums, and has toured Germany many times. Their music has been described as Dick Dale meets the Doors. Music from Low Frequency in Stereo had been used in several skate/surf films, MTV and to the Norwegian film Elling. www.lowfrequencyinstereo.com

THE CUTE CRASH COMBO is a new Norwegian act, any newly signed to Rec 90. The band comes from Norway’s rock capitol Trondheim (Motorpsyho’s hometown). Even though they have so far not released any material; the band has been invited to play on many of Norway’s biggest festivals. THE VIOLENT YEARS toured last year with Wovenhand (16 Horsepower). The music is a mix between Nick Cave, Madrugada and REM. This Summer they played at Hove Festival with acts as The Killers, Damien Rice and Klaxtons. www.myspace.com/theviolentyears

ERLEND ROPSTAD did record his debut album last year with producer Davide Bertolini (Kings of Convenience). The album “Bright Late Nights” is for European release August 24th. He toured last year with Thomas Dybdahl, Essex Green and Teitur.
