Earlier this year, Brooklyn brooders the National released their album High Violet, which debuted in Billboard's top five and scored a BNM from us. As a victory lap, the National will take theirs on November 22, when 4AD will release a two-disc expanded edition of High Violet.

The new edition of the album will feature the original LP on one disc, and another disc with eight bonus tracks-- unreleased songs (like "You Were a Kindness"), live tracks, B-sides, and an alternate version of "Terrible Love".
